I do assume that most of those that find this blog will already know who I am, and will probably only have found this blog by google'ing my name.... but for those that don't: I'm a "graphics guy", somewhere between industry (ex Intel, currently at NVidia) and Academia (currently SCI, University of Utah), and usually "somewhere" around topics like ray tracing, general rendering, global illumination, visualization, parallel rendering, etcpp (usually with a strong dose of - did I say it already - ray tracing!); and with a certain amount of work in areas such as compilers and programming models (IVL, ISPC), performance-programming on interesting hardware architecutres (CPUs, Xeon Phis, Larrabee, GPUs, ...) etc thrown in (again, usually involving some form of ray tracing). Also check out my google scholar profile, at https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=HsZvWv0AAAAJ&hl=en .
